[Students] Open Forum / Strategic Plan for Diversity Presentations

This message is sent on behalf of Dr. Edward W. Romero, Chief Diversity
Officer and the Office of Institutional Diversity.

 

Recently during the Spring Assembly, President, Dr. Dan Jones mentioned
the development of a comprehensive University Strategic Plan for
Diversity. Over the next several weeks, Dr. Edward Romero, Chief
Diversity Officer will be conducting open-forum presentations on campus.
The purpose of the presentations is to help faculty, staff, and
students, better understand the process in the months ahead as we embark
on developing a university-wide diversity plan.

 

We encourage your attendance during one of the open-forums on campus in
order to better understand the process. In addition, Dr. Romero will be
conducting outreach programs with constituent groups across campus this
spring, as well as organizing a campus climate assessment to help
establish diversity benchmarks.  Your input and engagement is
encouraged.
