[Students] Ambassador Program and Outside Scholarships for Business Professional Conference/GMAT Prep

Dear Students,

 

Just a friendly reminder that we are now accepting applications for our
2014-2015 class of the Lion Student Ambassadors program.  Interested
students can now access the application and additional details about the
Lion Student Ambassador program and positions on our website at:

Lion Student Ambassadors do receive a $1,000 scholarship as well as
hourly compensation for performing their duties.

 

Application deadline is 5:00pm on Monday April 14, 2014.

 

OUTSIDE SCHOLARSHIPS

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) is offering scholarships
to pay for the cost of a trip to a professional business conference and
one for a GMAT prep course and materials.

 

In order to be eligible to win the scholarship for the conference you

* Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident
 * Must be of Hispanic heritage
 * Must have a MBA from an AACSB accredited institution (Texas A&M
University-Commerce is one) or five years of professional work
experience
 * Must have at least two years of professional work experience

 

The deadline is May 1, 2014.

 * Must be of Hispanic heritage
 * Must have a Bachelor's degree from an AACSB accredited institution
(Texas A&M University-Commerce is one)
 * Must have at least two years of professional work experience
 * Must have income eligibility (verified by submitting your last tax
return)

 

The deadline is May 31, 2014.
