We are pleased to announce that Texas A&M University-Commerce will be
partnering with Higher One(r), to bring a new method for receiving your
refunds and managing money to all Texas A&M University-Commerce
students--- the Pride Choice Card.

What does this mean for students?

It means more choices for managing your money and receiving Financial
Aid refunds! Our partnership with Higher One ensures faster delivery of
the refund money we may have for you; and smarter ways to manage that
money.

Why are we making this change?

We've made the switch to Higher One's services to simplify your life and
your finances; and to free up our administrative staff so they have more
time to focus on serving you the student. Not to mention, (even though
we already have) Higher One offers smarter choices for refund delivery
and a great variety of accounts designed with you in mind.

Students will have the opportunity to choose how they get their refunds:

1. By refund check through the US mail.

2. By direct deposit through their existing bank

3. Through a free checking account provided by Higher One

So who is Higher One?

Higher One is a company started by three college students who believed
in a better way to help students receive and manage money. Learn more
at www.HigherOne.com/Higher101.

What do students need to do?

Make sure we have your current mailing address! Here's how:

* Log in to the MyLeo student portal

* Click on Registration, Records and Grades

* On the next page - click on the Personal Information tab

* On the Personal Information page - click on Update Addresses
and Phones

* Update your Mailing Address by clicking on the word "Current".
That is the address that Higher One will use to mail your information
packet. Click the submit button after making changes to update your
address. If the address will not update remove the phone number and try
again.

* If you are unable to save your changes for any reason please
e-mail RegOfc at tamuc.edu <mailto:RegOfc at tamuc.edu> with the subject
"Higher One Address Update" and include the following:

1. Student Campus Wide ID number

2. Name

3. Mailing Address

Be sure to update your address with the US Postal service as well to
avoid delays.

Then, beginning May 1, look for the bright green envelope from Higher
One! Once it arrives, you'll simply use the Pride Choice Card inside to
let us know how you'd like to receive your money. Just choose the option
that best fits you...and be sure to get started as soon as it arrives!
Remember, even if you are not currently expecting a refund, we may have
money for you in the future, so don't wait.
