[Students] Are You Still Unfamiliar with Your University's QEP?

Good morning Lions,
 
Are you interested in expanding your global competence?
 
Doing so can better prepare you to work in a diverse environment.
 
The Quality Enhancement Plan seeks to build global competence by ³Preparing
Students for an Interconnected World.²
 
A recommendation to build this competence: developing historical
perspectives by ³learning to appreciate past influences that have shaped
people and environments.² To do this, you could ³Travel to a community
outside your own to learn about the history of the area and events that
shaped the lives of its inhabitants. Take the opportunity to learn about the
backgrounds of the various people, their religious and cultural practices,
their languages, cuisine, etc. and how immigrants changed the culture of the
local community and surrounding area² (GCAA).
