[Students] Weekend System Outage

University Community:
Critical security patches must to be applied to the University servers.
This corrective action will prevent successful exploitation and remove
or mitigate a threat's capability to exploit a specific vulnerability.
After consulting with user advocates, the update is scheduled for
Sunday, September 2nd, from 12 AM - 5AM CST. During this time all
services that depend on central university servers will be unavailable
for brief intervals during the scheduled outage. These services include,
but not limited to, myLeo and applications within, eCollege (online
classes), both student and employee emails, LeoPay, Pharos, Print
Services, File Services and a possible impact on internet browsing.
No phone lines, voicemail or emergency phone lines will be affected. If
you experience any problems after that time, please email the IT Support
Center at helpdesk at tamuc.edu. Thank you.
