[Students] Help Alpha Kappa Alpha and Heifer International

[bturner3]

The Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,
Incorporated, would like everyone to join us and Heifer
International to help end world hunger and poverty. This
effort will be done by giving families across the world a
hand-up, not just a hand-out, through the gifts of livestock
and training. This effort will empower families to improve
their nutrition, while generating income in sustainable
ways. It is referred to as “living loans” because the
families who are provided with the livestock must give one
of their offspring to another family in need. This simple
idea of giving families a source of food rather than
short-term relief caught on and has continued for over 65
years. Today, millions of families in 128 countries have
been given the gifts of self-reliance and hope. As an effort
to support this life changing cause, we would like to extend
the opportunity for you to get involved! A donation of any
amount will help provide livestock, seeds, or training to a
family struggling with hunger and poverty. We hope you can
join our efforts and we hope to see you soon! We have tables
at the student center Tuesday the 29th and Friday the 2nd
from 11am-2pm you can meet the oh so pretty new members of
the Epsilon Sigma Chapter Of Alpha Kappa Alpha and
contribute your donations!
