[Students] CaribSA Dance-A-Thon

Greetings from the Caribbean Students Association(CaribSA).

On November 30th, 2011 CaribSA will be hosting a Dance-A-Thon in The
Club from 7pm-12am. The purpose of the event is to provide a free and
positive environment for students, faculty and members of the community
to learn about the effects AIDS/HIV has on humankind and the steps being
taken to eradicate the disease. According to www.worldaidsday.org
<http://www.worldaidsday.org/> , there is an estimated 33.3 million
people globally infected with HIV and  December 1st, (since 1988) is
observed as World AIDS Day. World AIDS is a day in which supporters,
advocates, victims and their families around the world show their
recognition of HIV/ AIDS through awareness, and donations toward
research in hopes of 
finding a cure.

Tickets are $2 in advance and $3 at the door.

If you would like to dance dance dance all night, you will be given a
number and attempt to be the last person dancing to different genres of
music. Anything from Elvis to the Chicken Dance may be played. Also,
there will be song requests for .25cents.

If you manage to be one of the last 3 contestants dancing, you will win
one of these prizes:

1st Prize-$75 Visa or MasterCard Gift Card

2nd-$25 Visa or MasterCard Gift Card and $15 in Lion Cash

3rd-$15 Visa or MasterCard Gift Card and $10 in Lion Cash

If you choose not enter the dance contest, you may enter the raffle for
these cool Prizes:
Bath & Body Works products

Catered Caribbean Dinner for 2

Catered Caribbean Dinner for 1

Catered Caribbean Dinner for 1

$25 Wal-Mart Gift Card

A Pair of Toms Shoes


Also, there will be DOOR Prizes ALL NIGHT!!

donated to A.I.D.S. Foundation.
