Hello Juanita:
I am sorry to hear that you have not heard anything on your financial
aid for this fall. In looking at your financial aid record, there is no
financial aid application received on file and I don't see where you are
registered for classes this fall 2011 semester. I do see where you were
admitted but that is all the information available.
We would be very happy to assist you but without a 2011-2012 FAFSA on
file there is little information to provide. If you have not done so,
you need to complete the 2011-2012 FAFSA at http://fafsa.gov . When
completing the FAFSA, please have available your 2010 income tax
information. You will need that data for the income section of the form.
Please make sure you include our school code, 003565. This will enable
us to retrieve your application data once the FAFSA processor completes
their analysis. Once we have access to your financial aid record, we
will be able to determine your eligibility for financial aid and the
amounts from what program. You do have to be enrolled in a minimum of 6
credit hours. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

"Most business men generally are so busy coping with immediate and
piecemeal matters that there is a lamentable tendency to let the "long
run" or future take care of itself. We often are so busy "putting out
fires," so to speak, that we find it difficult to do the planning that
would prevent those fires from occurring in the first place. As a
prominent educator has expressed it, Americans generally "spend so much
time on things that are urgent that we have none left to spend on those
that are important."

Importance: High
In regards to Financial Aid,I have not heard anything from
you all at A&M about aid so I will need to drop my classes.
I have tried every number I have been given to no avail. So
if you would be so kind as to respond and let me know if I
have to go personally to the campus and withdraw or drop the
classes. I could not apply for a loan that I'm not sure I
will be able to repay for now. I'm sorry if I have bothered
you it was not my intention but this is the only alternative
that I have. I work full time and don't have the luxutry to
be on the phone for long. I understand you all our busy but
I don't know what else to do. Thank you. Sincerely, Juanita
Serna
