Commerce Big Event

April 4, 2009

 

 

April 4 is Big Event Day, where the community and A&M-Commerce come
together to improve the appearance and safety of Commerce.  Attached is
more information about the projects as well as a project proposal form.


 

Please read over the materials as well as look about your surroundings
and see what you can do to clean up or improve the appearance of your
property, a neighbor's property, local business such as the Commerce
Library, a roadway, a park or an area on the university campus.  Once
you determine a project, turn in the form to the Chamber and let us know
what you are doing.  People taking pride in their properties and the
community are an encouragement to others and we want to pass the
information on to let people know what is being done.  Project forms may
also be picked up at the Chamber at 1114 Main.

 

Metal and Paper Recycling and Document Shredding at Farmers Market will
again take place on the morning of April 4 from 

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and we encourage you to take advantage of these two
activities.
