[Students] Orientation Leaders/New Student Mentors Wanted

Looking for a fun and exciting summer job? Want to make a difference on this

The Office of Orientation still has some openings available for our
Orientation Leader/New Student Mentor student staff positions.

 

We have completed one round of hiring and we have recruited an awesome group
of 14 students out of 30+ applicants. However we want the best so we are
still in the look for dedicated, enthusiastic and involved campus leaders
who want to work with and assist our new students find their place as a new
member of our Texas A&M-Commerce family to complete our 2008 team.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have completed one full semester (have at least 12 hours) at Texas
A&M-Commerce by time of application

Must have and maintain a 2.3 overall GPA

Must be free of academic or disciplinary probation or suspension (cleared by
Dean of Students and Registrar's Office)

Must be currently enrolled and maintain at least 12 semester hours (9 hours
if graduate student)

Must be able to attend required trainings during Spring 2008 semester in
Commerce, TX

Must be present and work all Summer 2008 orientation sessions in Commerce,
TX

Can not graduate before Fall 2008
