The planning committee for the 2008 American Cancer Society's Relay For Life
at Texas A&M University-Commerce is excited and ready for the 2008 Relay For
Life. We invite all students, faculty, staff and Commerce community members
to take part in this great fun-filled campus event.

 

We specially invite cancer survivors, patients and caregivers to register
and attend the event.

 

Make sure that your organization, club, residence hall, college, office
and/or department are represented because you can make a difference! 
- First and foremost, you can come out to our event this April 4, 2008 on
the TAMU-C Memorial Stadium track, and help us cheer on our Survivors and
Caregivers;
- You can join a team and be out there the night of the event having fun and
hanging out with friends enjoying live entertainment;
- You can make a donation that will help fund cancer education, advocacy,
research, and patient services right here in North Texas;
- You can tell others about our event, and encourage them to come out, or
donate too!

The Relay For Life of Texas A&M University-Commerce is currently in its 5th
year and has raised over $170,000 for the fight against cancer. The event
was recently recognized as the #2 college event in the High Plains Division
of the American Cancer Society for per capita funds raised and it is one of
the most anticipated and fun events on campus.
