[Students] New Event Calendar for your viewing on MyLeo Home page

Students, Faculty, Staff, and all Organizations:

 

 

There is a new event calendar that is available on MyLeo home page!  This
calendar has been set up to replace some of the emails that go out to the
student listserver.  Anyone who needs to post or send information out about
upcoming University events please send the information to
Joan_Lawrence at tamu-commerce.edu <mailto:Joan_Lawrence at tamu-commerce.edu>
and I will get it on the calendar for you.  I would like to ask that you
follow a format so I get accurate information posted for you.  I will need:

 

Title of the event

Date and time of event

Short paragraph about the event (pertinent information)

Sponsor of the event

Where the event will take place (be specific about room numbers, etc)

Phone number, email or contact person

A website link (if applicable).  This link can go right to your website to
view flyers and further information about your events.

 

This calendar will NOT replace the student listserver and we will still be
sending out emails pertaining to information that students should know
about, but we are in hopes that you will use this calendar for your
organizations, meetings, and planned events to help eliminate the many
emails that students receive and really don't want to view.
