[Students] TODAY IS MAJORS FAIR

[Joan Lawrence]

WHAT: MAJORS' FAIR

WHEN: FRIDAY, October 5, 11:30am to 1pm

WHERE: Founders Lounge

Why a Majors' Fair? Our own students typically do not get to experience
University Day, and yet many of them, particularly new, first year or
transfer students, may well benefit from meeting with seasoned A&M-Commerce
students, to help them as they learn about their majors, or help them
explore possible minors.

The Campus Majors' Fair is from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on the second floor
of the Memorial Student Center.

Academic departments will have table setups from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m in
the Founders Lounge. There will be faculty and/or staff available during the
entire fair to talk with students. This is prime time for new first-year and
new transfer students to obtain detailed information about majors and
minors, particularly those students who are undecided.
