RE:       Farewell Reception for Dr. Frank Ashley

 

All faculty, staff and students are invited to a reception for Dr. Frank B.
Ashley, III on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. in the Founders
Lounge of the MSC.  Dr. Ashley has served with distinction since 2004 as
Dean of the College of Education and Human Services, and most recently as
Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.  It is
with a mixture of joy and sadness that we wish him farewelI as he assumes
the position of Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs of The
Texas A&M University System.

 

Please join me in wishing Frank, Janice and their children well.  I hope to
see you Wednesday, May 9, 2007.
