The Sigma Xi Sixth Annual Student Faculty Research Forum will be held
Thursday, April 26th, 2007 in the Science Building on the campus of Texas
A&M University-Commerce.

This Forum is for any interested A&M-Commerce students, both undergraduate
and graduate, AND faculty, who are involved in a scientific research project
either on or off campus and offers the opportunity to present their work to
the community. In addition, it allows campus faculty and students to find
out about research that their colleagues are currently conducting. Area
high school students are invited to participate and well as students and
faculty from surrounding colleges and universities.

Students and faculty can present their work in either of two presentation
formats, poster or oral presentation. Oral presentations are formal, last
15 minutes and followed by 5 minutes for questions. Poster sessions are
more informal. Students and faculty are stationed near their posters to
answer questions and clarify points as needed. Students and faculty may
submit their abstracts as an email attachment to
Jena_Hamra at tamu-commerce.edu <mailto:Jena_Hamra at tamu-commerce.edu> . Please
include in your email: presentation format, whether student or faculty
presenter and name of faculty advisor, if a student. The abstract deadline
is Tuesday, April 24th at 5 PM.

For additional information, please contact Dr. Jena Hamra at 468-6064.
