[Students] FW: Math and Science Saturday - please help spread the word

Hi All,

Operation Spark, a grant funded by L3, TAMU-C, and four local school
districts (Greenville ISD, Commerce ISD, Phoenix Charter School, and
Greenville Christian School) will be hosting Math and Science Saturday on
the TAMU-C campus April 21, 2007, from 8:30 am-3:30 pm. The grant and
program in general is aimed at getting students interested in math and
science and then helping them to excel in these disciplines. The event is
targeted to students in grades 6-12.

I started advertising for the event about 6 weeks ago; so far student
response has been mediocre. I am hoping that 40-60 students will attend the
event. I request your help in getting the word out (perhaps you have a child
in grades 6-12 in one of these schools who might want to attend this event
or you have friends who have children in these grades).

Students must pre-register for the event. I would like to end registration
by 5 pm on Friday so that I know how many students to plan for on Saturday.

I have attached a registration form, a description of the day's events, and
a summary agenda to this e-mail. Can you please share the information with
math and science students who are in grades 6-12 or their guardians.
