[Students] Procedure in Case of Inclement Weather

[Joan Lawrence]

University Community,

As we approach the time of the year when inclement weather can disrupt the
University's operating schedule, there are sources available to all of us to
keep us informed. If it is necessary to close the main campus or to open
late, we can check as follows:

1.	Listen to KETR-FM at 88.9 on the dial starting at 6:00 a.m.
2.	Go to the University web home page at
http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/home/ <http://www.tamu-commerce.edu/home/>
3.	Call the University Bad Weather Line at 886-5005
4.	Watch the major Dallas television stations

The Mesquite Metroplex Center coordinates with Eastfield College, and if
Eastfield is closed, so is the Mesquite facility. If the Universities
Center at Dallas (UCD) closes, the notice will be on the main number
(214-744-6600) and the major Dallas television stations.

You might keep this e-mail for future reference.
