On the evening of November 28th, 2006 a white male approached a child on a
playground on the campus of A&M-Commerce. The subject asked the child
several questions about her age and name, then solicited the child for
sexual activity.

The subject then left the area heading East on Jefferson St. He is
described as a white male approximately 6ft in height with a slender build.
He was wearing a grey t-shirt and shorts, was clean shaven. If anyone has
information about this or any other crimes please contact the University
Police Department at 903-886-5868.

The University Police Department offers the following advice to prevent
unwanted activity of this nature:

*	Never allow children to play without adult supervision.
*	Immediately report all suspicious persons near areas that children
play.
*	Keep an up to date photograph of your child in digital format. A
program like KidPrint is available at many police departments including the
Commerce Police Department.
*	Attend an educational program. (Stranger Danger and KidPrint will
be offered at Leberman Hall on November 30th from 4PM to 6PM)
*	Visit www.missingkids.com <http://www.missingkids.com/>  for more
comprehensive information on how to talk to your child about safety.
