[SSC_ContractAdmin] Space Management software

Todd,

TAMU's Office of Mapping and Space Information has recently released an RFP for a Computer Aided Facilities Management software and will be making a selection shortly from one of four vendors.  We have reviewed Archibus, Planon, Insite, and FM:Systems.  We are looking at just the space management aspect but all have further capabilities related to room scheduling, maintenance and work order tracking and asset management.  All allow for direct linkage of space information to floor plans with some having better functionality than others.  FM:Systems is the only system we have looked at that already has all THECB reports built in due to use by the University of North Texas.

We have identified which system we are likely to choose but I have not made it official so can't really say at this time.  I would be happy to answer any additional questions you might have.
