Hello SPS,

It is with a slight heavy heart that I announce my resignation as president. After long contemplation, I have decided that my extremely busy research and academic duties would hamper my ability to be an effective and involved leader. I have had a terrific time both last semester and this semester spending time with everyone, and would like to emphasize how grateful I am for all of the support along the way. That being said, I am happy to announce that Melanie Schroers will take my former position. I have extreme confidence in her ability to be an awesome leader. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
