June 29, Day 15

Today I gave a power point presentation in the morning.  When I came back to lab, I saw that my product had crystallized over night.  I decanted the rest of the liquid left with the crystals and saved it in a vial.  I then washed my crystals with hexane, removed the hexane, and dried the crystals under a high power vacuum.  While they dried I washed some glassware.  To finish the day I ran an NMR of the crystals.
