  My oil did not crystallize so I had to roto-vap the solvent off which gave me my original product back.  I then left the oil under high-pressure from a vacuum to evaporate the rest of the solvent off.  After the seminar this afternoon, I used the 400 MHz NMR to confirm that I synthesized the correct molecule.
