  Today I evaporated the rest of the dichloromethane off of my product using a high pressure vacuum.  I then triturated the oil with hexane which yeilded two separate layers.  I filtered off the liquid to collect crystals, but when I added hexane a second time the liquid did not separate into two layers.  I placed the oil in the refrigerator over the weekend in hopes that it might crystallize.
