Today I finished evaporating using liquid nitrogen and the high power vacuum.  I ran another NMR to see if there was any change that resulted from the evaporation, and there was.  I then ran an NMR of the starting product to reference with my latest NMR.  The results were very encouraging.  To finish the day, I tried a small anion exchange reaction and left it overnight.
