[phas-faculty_staff_others] FW: Call for Internships

If you are aware of or would be able to offer an internship-like position to any of our honors students this summer or next fall, please let the Honors College know (details in the email below).   Pure research projects are not exactly what these are for, but projects that would help a student grow and develop jobs skills would be.  So, for example, projects such as computer coding, electronics work, depositing various thin films, developing/testing educational materials, creating outreach materials on multiple media, planetarium managing, etc. may work well.  Positions involving mostly busy work such as cleaning up the stock room or sorting file cabinets probably are not.

Greetings!
It's that time of year where we are looking for on-campus internship opportunities for our Honors Students who completing the internship capstone. Attached you'll find the application and description of what we're aiming to achieve with these positions for our students. We are currently looking for Summer and Fall positions. Remember, the position is paid for by the honors college :)  Deadline to return completed applications is March 1.
