[phas-dept] Fwd: [FSNotify] REMINDER: Campus Climate Survey Closes Friday

Hi everybody,

This is a not-so-gentle reminder (or maybe more of desperate begging) asking you to fill out the Learning, Living & Working Survey.  This is not a typical SurveyMonkey set of 3 or 4 biased questions that will be ignored.  The survey administrators, Rankin & Associates, have collected and analyzed responses to similar surveys at several large universities nationwide.  The main goals are to illuminate our campus identity, to determine our strengths as a campus, to pinpoint which parts of campus life are failing our students, staff, and community, and to chart a course for improvement.

The survey is completely anonymous.  The survey analysis will break along various demographic lines with no fewer than 5 respondents in each.  In other words, if our department has at least five faculty, five undergraduates, and five graduate students respond, our needs and concerns will be considered separately in at least some aspects of campus life.  Otherwise, we are likely to get lumped in with chemistry, math, or engineering.

Please, take ten minutes now to complete the survey if you haven’t already.  The link is in President Jones’s email below. This is your chance to raise awareness of your unique experiences at A&M-Commerce.
