Subject: IWCA Planning Meeting

Hello,
You are receiving this message because you are either the director of a
writing center in Texas, a learning center in Texas, or you have been
identified as someone who is interested in starting up a writing center
on your campus.

We would like to invite you to a meeting for Texas writing center
directors on October 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the University of
Houston-Clear Lake. The purpose of this meeting is to facilitate
collaborative relationships among directors in the state, and to assist
in planning for the Houston-based IWCA conference in April 2007.

If you know of other area directors whose names do not appear on our
contact list, we would appreciate your forwarding this message to them
and/or sending us the contact information.

Please RSVP to let us know if you will attend the planning meeting. We
are providing lunch and will need an accurate head count approximately
one week before the meeting.

A specific agenda for the meeting will follow.

We hope to hear from many of you and look forward to meeting with you in
October.
