We recognize that some international students were not able to arrive in time to attend courses this spring 2016 semester at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Below are the deferral instructions if you would like to move your admissions to the summer or fall semester.

The Office of International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) will begin issuing I-20's for our summer and fall admits in late February. Please be sure to submit your deferral information by February 19 to allow the ISSS plenty of time to defer your I-20 before the I-20 becomes invalid in the SEVIS system.

If you are unable to attend classes at A&M-Commerce this semester then you will need to defer your admission. For graduates students, complete the Deferral Request form athttp://www.tamuc.edu/academics/graduateSchool/documents/deferralRequestForm.pdf and submit this along with an updated bank and sponsor statement to the graduate school.

For undergraduate students, you may email Pamela.Wright at tamuc.edu<mailto:Pamela.Wright at tamuc.edu> to defer your admission. You will also need to include updated bank and sponsor statements.

DO NOT email your documents to the ISSS as we do not process deferral requests.
