[NewIntlStudents] Insurance reminder

[New International Students]

As a reminder, all international students in a non-immigrant visa at A&M-Commerce are required to enroll in a the System Student Health Insurance Plan (SSHIP) unless they meet one of the limited exceptions allowed by the A&M System.

For information about the allowed exceptions please  go to https://tamuc.myahpcare.com/waiver.  The deadline to submit a waiver with Academic Health Plans, the A&M System health insurance account manager, is June 12.  Please go to https://tamuc.myahpcare.com/waiver to submit a waiver if you meet one of the allowed exceptions.

The health insurance charge for the summer is $437.50 and this charge will appear on your student account by the end of the first week of summer session 1.  Coverage for the insurance will be from May 17 to August 31.  All students will be charged for the insurance again in the fall semester and coverage will be until December 31.
