[NewIntlStudents] Important information from ISSS at A&M-Commerce

[New International Students]

Hello

We hope that you are well and we look forward to meeting you soon.  Don't forget that all new F and J international students to A&M-Commerce are required to check-in at International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) in person before they may register for courses for the summer semester.  Check-in is by appointment only and you may go to www.tamuc.edu/intlorientation<http://www.tamuc.edu/intlorientation> to review the required documents and schedule your appointment.  Attached is our data form that you will also need to fill out and bring to your check-in appointment.  DO NOT arrive late for your appointment and make sure you have all required documents for check-in.


*        We have a number of online presentations about fee payment, campus safety, campus employment, off-campus employment, and other important topics at http://bit.ly/1K5eUN3.  Be sure to review them as soon as possible.


*         All new students for the summer must report to the ISSS no later than Friday, June 5 for check-in.  The ISSS will not grant permission for students to arrive late regardless of the reason.  If you are unable to report to the ISSS by Friday, June 5 then you may email New.Intl at tamuc.edu<mailto:New.Intl at tamuc.edu> for deferral information for fall.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL NEW F AND J VISA STUDENTS FOR THE SUMMER ARE REQUIRED TO ENROLL IN A MINIMUM OF 6 CREDIT HOURS FOR THE SUMMER SEMESTER.  3 HOURS MUST BE FACE TO FACE IN SUMMER SESSION 1 AND THE REMAINING 3+ HOURS MAY BE FACE TO FACE OR ONLINE IN SUMMER SESSION 1 OR 2.
