[NewIntlStudents] When will insurance charges be applied?

[New International Students]

The ISSO will place the $639 insurance charge on student's accounts on Friday, January 17.  As a reminder, students who make any payments intended for the insurance charge will need to contact Student Accounts to request the payment be applied to the insurance charge.  Students who sign up for the installment plan will need to contact Student Accounts to request part of their first installment plan payment be applied to the insurance charge.  You may go to http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitioncosts/bursar/staffDirectory.aspx for contact information.  

 

If you are eligible for a waiver from the SSHIP (employment based insurance or government scholarship) you will need to request a waiver by Friday, January 17 by following the instructions below:

*	Have your insurance card, benefit including exclusions, and school ID ready 
*	Go to https://www2.academichealthplans.com/school/212.html <https://www2.academichealthplans.com/school/212.html>  
*	Login to the waiver system by using the following information:  Login is CWID and password is date of birth (mmddyyy) 
*	After entering your insurance information and attaching the proof of insurance documents click "Submit"
