[NewIntlStudents] Reminder from A&M-Commerce International Student Services Office

[New International Students]

Hello

We would like to congratulate you again on your admission to A&M-Commerce for the spring 2015.  Our office and the university will close at 12pm (noon) on Tuesday, December 23 for the holiday break and we will reopen on Monday, January 5 at 8am.  Below are some reminders for all new international students.  Be sure to review our guidebook which answers most of the questions new students may have at http://bit.ly/1vk2w02:


1.       Be sure to register for the mandatory International Student Orientation on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 if you haven't already.  Attendance is mandatory for all new international students and you may register at http://bit.ly/1pHgBIJ.


2.       All new international students are required to check-in in person at the ISSO and provide all documents/information listed at http://bit.ly/1yecSUC.  Check-in is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and you may schedule your appointment at http://bit.ly/1yecSUC.


3.       All students 21 years of age and younger (only 21 and younger) are required to have the Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination.  Please go to http://bit.ly/1AZ75S9.



4.       All international students (all students here through a non-immigrant visa) are required to enroll in the System Student Health Insurance Plan.  There are limited exceptions allowed by the System and you may go to http://bit.ly/1CFhzv2 for more information.
