[NewIntlStudents] Vaccination and Health Insurance at A&M-Commerce

[New International Students]

All new students 21 years or age or younger are required to either receive a vaccination for the Bacterial Meningitis or meet certain criteria to decline the vaccination.  Please note that students who are 22 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER ARE NOT required to have the vaccination.  For more information about the vaccination or for instructions to submit your vaccination proof go to http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/registrar/meningitis.aspx.

All international students (any non-immigrant visa) are required to enroll in the A&M System Student Health Insurance Plan (SSHIP) unless they meet one of the A&M System exceptions.  PLEASE NOTE THAT OUTSIDE HEALTH INSURANCE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNLESS THE STUDENT MEETS ONE OF THE SYSTEM ALLOWED EXCEPTIONS.
