[NewIntlStudents] Orientation and check-in with International Student Services Office

[New International Students]

Just a reminder that all new international students are required to attend the international student orientation and check-in.  We will host an international student orientation on Tuesday, August 12 and another one on Thursday, August 21. The check-in schedule is located at http://www.tamuc.edu/CampusLife/CampusServices/internationalStudentServices/new-students/international-student-orientation-and-check-in1/orientation-and-check-in-for-new-students-admitted-for-fall.aspx.  Students are required to check-in with an international student advisor in person in the ISSO in Halladay 104.  Students may check-in Wednesday, August 13 through Friday, August 15 from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm as advisors are available.  The following information and documents are required at check-in:

*         Copy of A&M-Commerce I-20 (transfer students will need to provide copies of all previous I-20's)

*         Copy of passport and visa

*         Copy of I-94.  If paper copy we will need copy of the front and the back.  If electronic record you may access your record at www.cbp.gov/I94<http://www.cbp.gov/I94>.

*         Current physical address and phone number in the U.S. (even if temporary or a friend's information)Permanent address in your home country

*         Emergency contact (address, phone number, email) for friend or family in the U.S.Emergency contact (address, phone number, email) for family member in your home country
