[NewIntlStudents] Check-in with an international advisor at A&M-Commerce

[New International Students]

The check-in for international students will continue Monday, August 23
through Wednesday, August 25 from 9-11am and 2-4pm in the International
Student Services office (ISSO) in Halladay 104.  For a map of campus

ap.pdf.   Students may check-in with an international advisor during the
posted dates and times.  Students who are not able to check-in prior to
international student orientation on August 26 will still need to attend
orientation and may check-in between 10am-12pm(noon) on Friday, August
27.          

 

All international students are required to check-in with an
international advisor and provide the following documents:

*         Copy of I-20 (1st and last page) with port of entry stamp
showing.  TRANSFER STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE COPIES OF ALL PREVIOUS I-20'S.
You may contact your previous school(s) who will have copies on record.
F-1 STUDENTS WITH F-2 DEPENDENT(S) MUST PROVIDE COPIES OF THEIR
DEPENDENT I-20'S.

*         Copies of passport, visa, and I-94 (front and back) with port
of entry stamp showing.  F-1 STUDENTS WITH F-2 DEPENDENT(S) MUST PROVIDE
COPIES OF THEIR DEPENDENT DOCUMENTS.

*         Current physical address in U.S. and permanent address in home
country.  If you are living temporarily at a location we will still need
the address (example...friend's house or hotel).  

*         Emergency contact information of friend or family in U.S. and
home country.  

 

COPIES CANNOT BE MADE AT THE ISSO.  You may go to the library or the
copy center in the student center to make copies.  PLEASE DO NOT WAIT TO
CHECK-IN UNTIL THE LAST DAY BECAUSE WE WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO CHECK-IN
STUDENTS IN DURING THE POSTED TIMES. 

 

Students must complete check-in by 11am on August 25 and meet all
eligibility requirements to apply for the ISSO New Student Scholarship.
Applications will be provided once a student has completed check-in and
will be due in person no later than 12pm noon on August 25 at the ISSO.
