Dear Friends and Alumni,

Please join us for a very special concert on March 9th, 2017 featuring the Texas A&M University-Commerce Wind Ensemble and GRAMMY winning composer, Michael Daugherty.  The concert will take place in the Finney Concert Hall on the campus of Texas A&M University-Commerce at 7:30 p.m.  The concert will also feature graduate student percussionists Noah Friedman, Josiah Gaiter, Kevin West and Michael Young as well as faculty guest conductor, Stuart Shulman.

The program will include:


Fanfare for the Common Man - Aaron Copland
Invisible Cities for percussion quartet and wind ensemble - Dinuk Wijeratne
Illuminations - Mark Camphouse,
Masks and Machines - Paul Dooley
My Jesus, Oh What Anguish! - J.S. Bach


and the world premiere of Michael Daugherty's new work Of War and Peace.
