[MusicEvents] Music Building Dedication Ceremonies

Invitation to the Dedication:  Bringing Performance to Life!

The University will host the Dedication of the New Music Building in
Finney Concert Hall on Friday, October 21, in a ceremony/concert
beginning at 10:15 a.m.  The 70 minute event will intersperse
performances by the University's best student musicians-the A&M-Commerce
Brass, Jazz Ensemble I, Panimation the Steel Drum Band, Wind Ensemble,
piano soloists and Chorale-with speeches by President Dan Jones, Senator
Bob Deuell, Representative Dan Flynn, Chancellor John Sharp, and
President Emeritus Keith McFarland.

The University sent invitations to special guests who made the building
possible-donors, alumni, System and political figures, etc.-and these
guests have responded.  Still, there are many seats remaining.  If you
did not receive an invitation, but would like to attend, please reserve
a seat by contacting <Nancy_Melton at tamu-commerce.edu.>  These remaining
seats will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis.

The dedication ceremony will be immediately followed by a self-guided
building tour.
