[Journalism] Students Changes to J315 class and dropping J445 in Summer 1, 2014

For all majors in news-editorial and public relations and all minors in
those 

 

fields:  Journalism 315 has been added to the Summer One, 2014 schedule
of 

 

classes at the request of some students who need the course before the
spring  

 

semester of 2015.  Dean Salvatore Attardo approved this addition today,
April 30th.

 

            Dr. Bridges will teach the class from 11 a.m. till 12:50
p.m. in Room 205 of the 

 

Journalism Building.  The dean says the class will need 10 students to
be offered, 

 

but to date about eight students have indicated interest.   I have
placed a limit of 12 

 

on the course.

 

            Please be aware of the need for sufficient enrollment.
Summer One dates are

 

June 2 to July 3.

 

            The approval must be completed through the dean's office, so
I am hoping 

 

that by Friday, May 2nd or Monday of next week the class will listed in
the Summer 

 

One offerings to enable students to enroll.

message as needed.

 

            This change is being made by journalism and the dean to help
students in 

 

their degree programs.   So, I would hope the change will be supported
for the
