To all journalism and public relations majors: please pay attention to
course requirements and the class schedule for the spring term of 2014.
I have had questions about classes, and I have talked with students who
are confused about curriculum issues (in some cases, misadvised by other
students).

If you have questions, see me or Ms. Dottie McIntyre in the
dean's office in Education North. She is the adviser for our college,
HSSA.

Some quick notes: J115 is being offered in the spring.
Journalism 315 is also, but J115 is a prerequisite. News majors who
have had J214 should take J314. PR majors who are taking J328 should
move on to J329. PR majors can also take J426 with approval.

The internship course (J495) is open only to students with
approved intern opportunities. If you are interested in the class for
the spring session, see me ASAP.

Anyone who does not have an approved intern site will be removed from
the class. If you need help, see me or Mr. Stewart or Ms. Barton.

Do not waste time and tuition (money) on classes that will
not be accepted for your degree plan.

The Catalog may be checked online.
