[Journalism] Result of The Paris News Scholarship

[Kimberly Cook]

I am told by Ms. Ramos of the Financial Aid and Scholarship
Office that the individuals who applied for this scholarship did not
qualify or meet the criteria for this $500.00 award. Thus, the grant
will not be given this term. Individuals MUST complete all applications
carefully and in accordance with the requirements set by our agreement
with that publication and Ms. Ramos' office.

I am sorry we will not be giving the award. Our plan is to
re-open competition and thus give the award for use during the spring
term of 2014. I will meet with Ms. Ramos and determine what the
Journalism Division can do.
