[Journalism] SCHOLARSHIP Opportunity.

[Kimberly Cook]

Attention all Journalism Division

current majors in the sequences of news and public relations.

I have reached an agreement with the Scholarship Office to open
another round of applications for students who wish to apply for a
possible grant for the fall of 2012 from the Beverly and Staley McBrayer
fund.

This limited opportunity will close August 10th, 2012 at 5 p.m.
Any awards will be at the discretion of the Journalism Division faculty
based upon the criteria posted on the Scholarship Office website.

Decisions will be made the week of August 13, 2012. Ms. Ramos has
told me that the award can be made applicable for the fall semester.

If interested, apply through the Scholarship Office with the
required materials. That office will forward eligible names of students
to Dr. Bridges for review by the journalism faculty.

The Division appreciates the co-operation of Ms. Ramos in this
opportunity to help our students.

                              -Dr. Bridges
