[Journalism] Journalism 495 Internship.

          Any journalism sequence student - news - editorial or public
relations - interested in fulfilling the Journalism 495 Internship
requirement this summer should contact Dr. Bridges as soon as possible.
Enrollment in J495 is only permitted with an approved internship. If you
enroll without approval, you will be dropped from the class. 

 

            Internships may be completed throughout the summer, but
enrollment should be for Summer I. If the time of your internship goes
beyond summer one class dates, an Incomplete grade (or X) can be given
and cleared later when you finish your duties at the internship. That
poses no problem for the Division. 

 

            Dr. Bridges has a packet of information about J495. Address
any questions to him. Internships will be considered in all fields of
mass communications - news, public relations, advertising, electronic,
web design - all fields. But, final approval rests with the Division.
