[Journalism] Journalism 316 Class.

[Kimberly Cook]

Noah Nelson, who joined MMCT this spring and is a journalism
graduate of the University, will teach Journalism 316 this fall. The
class will combine the fundamentals of print journalism with the
practical skills of video storytelling and basic digital editing. As you
know, digital journalism is expanding its role in the coverage of local
and regional issues and events.

Students will produce both print and visual content.
Journalism majors will be able to add to their print journalism
experience a broader set of multiplatform skills useful for young
journalists in their future careers.

If you are a new-editorial sequence major and interested in
this class, contact Mr. Nelson. DO SO NOW.

Enrollment is with his approval. His office is Room 213 of the
Journalism Building or send an e-mail inquiry to
Noah_Nelson at tamu-commerce.edu or Noah.Nelson at tamuc.edu.

If you need assistance, ask Dr. Bridges or Mr. Stewart. Either
can help you get in contact with Mr. Nelson.
