[Journalism] Paul Busch Scholarship for 2012-2013.

The South Texas Press Association is accepting applications for the Paul


 

Busch Scholarship.  The amount is $1,500 for 2012-2013.

          The scholarship is for an upper-level student who is attending
a Texas 

 

college or university and "is committed to a career in newspaper
journalism" . Two 

 

other criteria are a GPA of 2.75 and contributions to the school's
newspaper or to 

 

community journalism.  Details are on the website as is the form to
apply.

 

          This scholarship used to be limited but is now open to all
colleges.  So, if you are 

 

interested, please apply.

 

          Deadline is April 5, 2012.
