Hello International Lions,

We hope that you are doing well. If you are traveling outside the United States, please be ensured of the travel requirements for the respective country. The International Travel is currently unpredictable.

Here is the link for requesting a travel signature I-20: travel signature<https://dms.tamuc.edu/Forms/OIP-Student?_ga=2.214452439.1161533756.1632749386-1709939391.1631908158>. You will need this travel I-20 while returning to the USA.

Required Documents for International Travel:

· Valid passport

· Un expired F-1 visa

· Travel I-20 with DSO signature on it. (Second page) Must be valid 6 months from the date signed by the DSO)

Required as of April 14th,2022 by CDC (Required)

Proof of Vaccination-Air Travel: All non-U.S. citizen, non-U.S. immigrants traveling to the United States by air are required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Testing-ALL Travelers: Before boarding a flight to the United States, you are required to show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel. There is also an option for people who have documented recovery from COVID-19 in the past 90 days.

Contact Information- ALL Travelers

All air passengers to the United States will also be required to provide contact information<https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/order-collect-contact-info.html#faq-9375> to airlines before boarding flights to the United States. This strengthens a travel process already in place to rapidly identify and contact people in the U.S. who may have been exposed to a communicable disease, such as COVID-19. Access to travelers’ contact information will allow U.S. federal, state, and local health departments, and agencies to share appropriate health and public health information necessary to help keep the public safe.

Documentation- As a reminder, be sure to have your required documents, such as your passport and any visa or other entry/residency documentation. All Visa Waiver Program travelers must have a valid, approved Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) for travel to the United States. The United States Government recommends travelers log in and review their ESTA status in advance of travel.

Recommended for ALL Travelers

Get tested with a COVID-19 viral test<https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/testing.html> 3-5 days after travel.

Find a U.S. COVID-19 testing location near you

Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms<https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html>; isolate<https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fcoronavirus%2F2019-ncov%2Fif-you-are-sick%2Fquarantine.html#anchor_1633109391123> and get tested if you develop symptoms.

Follow all state, tribal, local and territorial<https://www.cdc.gov/publichealthgateway/healthdirectories/index.html> recommendations or requirements after travel.

Please note that you may not be able to enter the U.S. without a COVID vaccination unless you are exempt. For more information check out CDC<https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/international-travel/index.html> webpage.
