Thanks for attending the Town Hall Meeting yesterday. Below is Mr. Charles Robnett's response to my email with your questions on "Holds", "Summer and Fall registration", "Payment plans" and cutting students with balance some slack at this time.

Dr. Adewale -
I have talked with or corresponded with a number of international students over the past few days.  In every case - after discussing their account with them - I lifted their hold so they could register whether they could make a payment or not.  The University cannot formally defer payments - however students will not be dropped from their classes if they do not make their payments on time and we will waive late payment fees for the remainder of the term.   It is important that students contact us so we can discuss their individual situations.  As I have indicated to everyone - once things return to a more normal pattern we will be glad to work with any student to develop a repayment plan so that they continue their education here at TAMU-C.

Please refer students to us who have any questions about their student account or who have a hold blocking registration.  We have several points of contact for students:

Several of our folks have access to the Student Accounts email box and can reply to student inquiries.

Although many staff members at the University are working from home - Sherrie and I are on campus every day and are available to talk with students in the cashier windows at the BA Building.   Currently we have the cashier window open 9-3 each day but we may be able to expand that time as we move forward through this unprecedented event.
