Dear Students,
Today and tomorrow are graduation. It is an exciting time for many of you. I wanted to remind you about graduation ceremony etiquette. Please share this information with your friends and family if they will be attending graduation.
While we encourage cheering of the graduates, please keep your cheers short and sweet so that other families can hear the next graduate's name read. Like your families, people travel many miles to attend and see graduation. Let's make sure everyone is cheered and that everyone's name is heard during the ceremony.
Also, please do not bring bull horns or noise makers to the ceremony.
Lastly, once you find your seat in the stands, please remain seated as constant moving around is distracting to all in attendance.
Remember, you are representing yourself, your family, your country, and this campus. We are proud of you and congratulations!
Thank you!
