[Intl-stu] System health insurance requirements

This email is a reminder that the Texas A&M System requires all F-1 and J-1 international students to enroll in the System Student Health Insurance Plan (SSHIP). Once a student is enrolled in the SSHIP they will be sent a separate email providing additional guidance including how to access their health insurance information and guidance on waiver eligibility.

The $947 charge for the SSHIP will be added as a separate charge on student's accounts once they have enrolled and tuition and fees have been added.  Please note that Student Accounts requires payment by the 15th day of class or a late charge will be added to the student's account. Attached with this email is a frequently asked question handout for the SSHIP and students with a full-time GA and Grad Plan insurance.
