[Intl-stu] New OPT processing fee

[International Students]

The Office of International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) recently received approval for a new $75 12-month OPT processing fee.  The purpose of this fee is to ensure the ISSS will continue to be able to provide quality administrative support and advising for students applying for 12-month OPT and for students on approved 12-month OPT.

The 12-month OPT processing fee will be effective for F-1 students applying for OPT this fall 2016 semester.  The ISSS will begin accepting applications for 12-month OPT on September 19, 2016.

Payment for the processing fee will be made through the ISSS Marketplace<https://secure.touchnet.com/C20206_ustores/web/store_main.jsp?STOREID=13> and students may pay by credit/debit card or by electronic check (ACH).  The fee will be created in the ISSS Marketplace by September 16.  The ISSS will not be able to accept personal checks or money orders for payment of the processing fee.
