[Intl-stu] FW: Insurance enrollment and waiver process- please review

[International Students]

Insurance charges have been added to student accounts for all currently enrolled F-1 and J-1 international students.

The SSHIP waiver application is open and ALL students eligible for a waiver (except students with a full-time assistantships and valid GA insurance for spring 2016) will need to submit a waiver at https://tamuc.myahpcare.com/waiver.  Please note:

*        If you were approved for a waiver for fall 2015 you will NEED TO RE-SUBMIT A WAIVER REQUEST AGAIN for the spring/summer 2016 semesters.

*        Students with a full-time assistantship and valid GA insurance will need to see below

*        The deadline to submit your waiver request is January 26, 2016

*        To learn more about the waiver criteria or to submit a waiver go to https://tamuc.myahpcare.com/waiver.

*        Once your waiver is approved by AHP we will receive notice.  Please allow the ISSS up to 10 business days to process approved waivers.

Students with a full-time assistantship and valid GA insurance for spring 2016 will need to complete the Assistantship Verification Form at http://bit.ly/1OaIgZk.  Once the ISSS verifies your GA and effective date for your insurance we will remove the insurance charge from your account.  Please allow the ISSS up to 10 business days to update your student account.

PLEASE NOTE that students with approved waivers for fall 2015 (except GA's) will need to re-submit a waiver request for spring/summer 2016 by January 26, 2016.
